For all of you craving for the return of the summer, the good news is that Salty Cove will be making its way to Winter Wonderland Manchester this Christmas!
Pip Ahoy! is thrilled to be back this year at Winter Wonderland Manchester 2016 for its fourth year. The festive extravaganza takes place from Saturday, 10th December 2016 to Monday, 1st January 2017 at EventCity next to the Intu Trafford Centre in Manchester.
The children’s TV series Pip Ahoy! airs on Channel 5’s Milkshake daily and follows the adventures of Pip and his friends Alba, Hopper and Pasty in their home town of Salty Cove under the watchful eye of Pip’s uncle, Captain Skipper, whose voice is provided by Sir David Jason.
This year, Pip invites you to join him at Salty Cove in Winter Wonderland Manchester, where you can build sandcastles at the beach or take a break and relax in a deck chair on the promenade.
Cuddly pup Pip is also bringing his excitable friend Alan who just loves to bounce to Winter Wonderland. Pip and Alan will be at the beach area every day so grab a bucket and spade and come down to Salty Cove to meet them, they love making new friends!

The Pip Ahoy! beach area promises to add something different to Winter Wonderland, whether you are looking to take five in a deckchair on the promenade while your little ones build sandcastles and play on the Salty Cove beach, or get your picture taken with Pip and Alan for your chance to win the daily competition.
Manchester’s biggest Indoor Christmas attraction, EventCity will be transformed in to an unbelievable wonderland extravaganza for Winter Wonderland 2016. There will be over 50 family rides and attractions all under one roof – including new rides for 2016 featuring a giant carousel, and all included in one ticket price.
Winner of the Best Family Day Out at the Raring 2 Go Awards 2015, Winter Wonderland Manchester 2016 offers a dazzling array of colourful shows including an exciting new addition for 2016 – a Christmas pantomime – Cinderella, a brand new Sci-Fi show and spectacular Christmas Circus, not forgetting Basil Brush’s Full on Fox show!
Santa is inviting all the children to come and visit him in his house which he has transported all the way from the North Pole! You can walk through all his rooms including his bedroom where he swaps his red suit for his PJs! And for an extra £3.50 he will throw in a little gift too! Don’t forget to stop and say hi to the real reindeer, not forgetting Rudolph of course!
There will also be a whole host of games stalls and a vast array of food and drinks stalls to purchase refreshments including hot snacks and sweet treats.
Winter Wonderland are proud to announce their event partners for 2016 will be Manchester radio stations Key 103 and Smooth Radio 97-108.
Ticket sales for this fabulous festive event are up by 279% on last year, so organisers Kingpin Events are urging families to book now to make sure they don’t miss out on this magical festive family adventure and to ensure they secure tickets for their preferred date.
